Privacy
1. Controller
The controller for the processing of personal data pursuant to Art. 4 (7) GDPR is:
QP – Business & IT Solutions
Herzbergstr. 155
10367 Berlin
Germany
Email: contact@qp-solutions.tech
Phone: +49 179 421 51 45
2. Principles
We process the personal data of visitors to this website exclusively in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Data is only processed where this is necessary:
- to provide the website technically
- to respond to enquiries and to communicate
- to initiate and perform contracts
The legal bases are in particular Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR.
3. No cookies, no tracking
This website sets no cookies and stores no information whatsoever on your device. No marketing or tracking services are used — in particular neither Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Meta Pixel nor comparable services. No usage profiles are created and no automated decision-making takes place.
For this reason there is also no cookie banner on this website — there is no process requiring consent within the meaning of Section 25 TDDDG.
Fonts are also not loaded from third-party servers: the typeface “Inter” is served directly from our own server. Visiting the site therefore establishes no connection to Google Fonts or other third parties.
4. Audience measurement with Umami
To understand which content is in demand, we evaluate the use of this website statistically. For this we use Umami, analytics software that we operate ourselves on our own server in the European Union. No data is transmitted to Google or any other third party.
Umami works without cookies and stores nothing on your device. To distinguish visits from one another, a daily-rotating, non-reversible hash is generated from your IP address, your browser identifier and a random value. Your IP address is not stored. Because the random value is renewed every day, recognition beyond a single day is technically impossible; no profile is created.
Only aggregated information is recorded, such as pages visited, approximate region of origin, referring website, device type and browser.
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in a data-minimising, statistical evaluation of website usage in order to improve our offering. As no information is stored on or read from your device, no consent under Section 25 TDDDG is required.
5. Hosting
The website is hosted by:
IONOS SE
Elgendorfer Straße 57
56410 Montabaur, Germany
IONOS processes the data arising when the website is accessed on our behalf. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place. The servers are located in Germany.
6. Access data (server log files)
When the website is accessed, the hosting provider automatically records the following information:
- IP address of the accessing device
- date and time of access
- name and URL of the file retrieved
- volume of data transferred
- website from which the access originated (referrer)
- browser used, its version and the operating system
This data is technically necessary in order to deliver the website, ensure its stable operation and defend against attacks. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in secure and trouble-free operation). This data is not merged with other data sources.
7. Contact form
Details submitted via the contact form are forwarded to us by email only. No storage in a database on the web server takes place.
The following is processed:
- name and email address (mandatory)
- company, phone number and topic (optional)
- the content of your message
- date, time and the IP address of the sending connection — solely to prevent automated abuse (spam)
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR insofar as the enquiry serves to initiate a contract, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to enquiries) as well as your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR, which you give when submitting the form.
8. Contact by email and telephone
If you contact us by email or telephone, we process your details in order to handle your request. The legal bases are Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR respectively.
The email service is likewise provided by IONOS SE.
9. Storage period
We store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention periods — in particular the commercial and tax law periods of six and ten years respectively. The data is deleted thereafter.
Server log files are deleted automatically by the hosting provider after a short time.
10. Recipients and transfers to third countries
Your data is not passed on to third parties — except to the service providers named above within the scope of data processing on our behalf, or where we are legally obliged to do so.
No transfer to countries outside the EU or the EEA takes place.
11. Your rights
You have the following rights under the GDPR at any time:
- access to the data stored about you (Art. 15)
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16)
- erasure (Art. 17)
- restriction of processing (Art. 18)
- data portability (Art. 20)
- objection to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21)
- withdrawal of consent with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3))
An informal message to contact@qp-solutions.tech is sufficient to exercise these rights.
12. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is:
Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit
Alt-Moabit 59–61
10555 Berlin, Germany
13. Changes to this policy
We will update this privacy policy if the legal situation or the processing on this website changes.
